Steven J. Reiff

Steven James Reiff, 72, of rural South Whitley, IN, and having ties to Huntington County, IN, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019.

Mr. Reiff’s formative years were spent in South Whitley, where he worked alongside his father and grandfather on the family farm. He graduated from South Whitley High School in 1965. He served in the United States Army reserves, and then built a career in farming, at one point having more than 1,000 acres planted. He was a current member of the First Church of God in Columbia City, and previously a member of the former South Whitley Church of God.

He was born June 25, 1947, in Huntington County Dale J. and Shirley Waters Reiff. His mother survives. He married Doris A. Draper on Aug. 14, 1966, and she preceded him in death after 52 years.
