Norma J. Bair

Norma J. Bair, 88, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at 11:10 a.m.  at Heritage Pointe of Huntington.

She graduated from Andrews High School in 1948 and worked at Kitchen Maid in Andrews. She retired as a foreman from Memcor in 2002 after 25 years of service. She worked for Kitchen Aid in Andrews prior to that. She was a member of Abundant Fellowship Church in Huntington.

She was born June 17, 1931, in Andrews to Wilbur and Cleo Aldridge Beeks. She married Dorman L. Bair on June 27, 1964, in Huntington, and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2012.

Survivors include three daughters, Angela (David) Loshe, of Decatur, and Susan (Ben) Thiefs and Tammy Koontz, both of Huntington; a son, Robert Brown, of Nancy, KY; two sisters, Bonnie (Wilbert “Curly”) Seibold and Barbara (Darl) Collins, both of Huntington; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Brown, and a daughter, Sheila Brown.

Calling is Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the mortuary, with Rev. Matt Snodderly officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Andrews Riverside Cemetery.
