Billy J. 'B.J.' Fisher

Billy Jack "B.J." Fisher, 37, of Geneva, IN, and having ties to Markle, IN, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, at 8:55 p.m. due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in Jay County.

Mr. Fisher attended school at South Adams High School. He was a welder at Wayne Metals in Markle. He attended the Global Vision Bible Church.

He was born Nov. 7, 1981, in Galveston, TX, to and Tracy L. Galloway Crane. His father, William E. (Kathy) Fisher II, survives in Rockford, OH. He married Courtney Turner on Aug. 8, 2016, in Geneva, and she also survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Kyndall (Scott Atkinson) Fisher and Brooklinn Fisher, both of Geneva; a son,  Jacob Fisher, of Geneva; a stepson, Bryan Easterling, of Geneva; a sister, Casey (John) Smith, of Geneva; three brothers, Jimmy (April) Pennington, of Pennville, and Jason Fisher and Joshua Fisher, both of Rockford, OH; a grandson, Asher Atkinson, of Geneva; paternal grandmother, Harriett Fisher, of Berne; maternal grandparents, Larry & Brenda Galloway, of Geneva, and Bonnie Torgerson, of Salina, UT; and maternal great-grandmother, Beulah Galloway, of Geneva.
 
Calling is Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva. A service of celebration will be held Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with calling starting at 11 a.m.  Jesse Fennig will be officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.
