Arden R. Grube

Arden R. Grube, 67, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, at 4:10 p.m.  at Wellbrooke of Wabash.

Mr. Grube graduated from South Whitley High School in 1970. He owned his own trucking company PaGrube Enterprises and drove for MSM Trucking. Prior to driving for MSM, he was a driver for Hiner Transport for more than 20 years. He was a member of Life Church in Huntington and a former member of the Huntington Jaycees, where he held several offices. He also belonged to the O.O.I.D.A. Trucking Organization.

He was born Jan. 16, 1952, in South Whitley to Willard and Marjorie (Dixon) Grube. He married Pamela K. Biehl on June 28, 1975, in Huntington, and she survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Phillip S. (Angela) Grube, of Roanoke; a daughter, Fawn S. Updike, of Huntington; two brothers, Bill (Betty Jo) Grube, of North Manchester, and Jerry (Sandy) Grube, of South Whitley; a sister, Ronda (Craig) Sroufe, of South Whitley; and four grandchildren; Siera Helm, Brock Updike, Matthew Grube and Abby Grube.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Lucas Arden Grube.

Calling is Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the mortuary, with Mike Hill and Mike Metzger officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington at a later date.
