Rev. Frederick E. Kellogg

Rev. Frederick E. Kellogg, 88, of Warren, IN, died Aug. 2, 2019, at 2:43 a.m. at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Rev. Kellogg attended Gas City High School and graduated from Marion College. He was a minister for 35 years and served 10 years with the United Methodist Church. He was a member of McNatt United Methodist Church. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was very involved in the Pennville community, including serving on the city council.

He was born June 21, 1931, in Gas City to Lester and Ethel Howell Kellogg. He married Barbara S. Platt on May 3, 1996, and she preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughters, Sonya Foster and Carlene Korber, both of Florida; Joi (Brad) Jimison, of Elkhart; Amy (David) Reimschisel, of Leo; and Jill (Patrick) Mohan, of Elkhart; a son, Mark (Kris) Scher, of Mishawaka; and sister, Linda Schuller, of Gas City.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Kellogg, and grandson, Adam Foster.

Calling will be Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Bill VanHaften officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
