Irma M. Frick

Irma M. Frick, 95, of Elkhart, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Hubbard Hill Retirement Home, Elkhart.
Mrs. Frick was a 1942 graduate of Union Township High School.  She and her husband moved to Nappanee in 1953, and then in 1972 they moved to Wilson, NC.  She then moved to Hubbard Hill in 2001.

Mrs. Frick had worked in accounting and social work.  She attended St. Thomas Catholic Church in Elkhart.  She formerly attended St. Therese in Wilson, NC.  She was a member of the Lady Lions Auxiliary, and was known for playing the mandolin in churches in North Carolina and Indiana.
She was born May 3, 1924, in Huntington to LeRoy and Pearl Redding Hite. She married Philip Frick on July 17, 1943, in Camp Crowder, MO, and he preceded her in death on July 9, 2000.  

She is survived by a daughter, Connie (Eric) Parrow, of Warner Robins, GA; and two sons, Greg (Jennifer) Frick, of Fernandina Beach, FL, and Ted (Kathy) Frick, of Bloomington.

Calling is Tuesday, May 14, 2019, from 10 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m., at St. Thomas Catholic Church, in Elkhart.  Calling will also be held be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the chapel at Hubbard Hill Retirement Home, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Rev. Dave Severance will officiate. Entombment will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, NC.
