John E. Lashley

John E. Lashley, 92, of Wisconsin, and having ties to Warren, IN, died Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

Mr. Lashley served in the United States Army, where he learned to weld, which was his occupation most of his life. He retired from Harris Metals in 1991. He was baptized Baptist.

He was born May 12, 1926, in Arcadia, MO, to Clarence and Kate Jackson Lashley. He married Sybil Thompson on Aug. 14, 1949, and she preceded him in death in 2005.

Survivors include a son, Ned (Linda) Lashley, of Redgranite, WI; a daughter, Pamela (Richard) Antosh, of Port St. Lucie, FL; four brothers; one sister; three grandchildren, Cory (Terrie) Antosh, Stacy (Scott) Schearer and Ryan (Danielle) Lashley; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel, with Rev. Rich Engle officiating. Full military services will follow the services and burial will be on Monday, April 8, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. at the Thompson Home Cemetery, in Warren.
