Robin L. King

Robin L. King, 59, of Pennville, and with family in Warren, IN, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at 12:27 p.m. at her residence.

Mrs. King was a 1978 graduate of Jay County High School. She joined the staff at the Bluftfon Animal Clinic in 1995 and worked there for 23 years. She was an active member and officer of The Freedom Riders - Chapter 7, and was also a member of the American Legion Post 111.
 
She was born Dec. 9, 1959, in Hartford City to Harry Brewer and Alberta Brewster Close. Her father survives in Marion and her mother survives in Bluffton. She married Mike King on April 19, 1986, in Bluffton, and he also survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Brandy (Jay) Ramseyer, of Pennville;
a brother, Dwight (Leslie) Brewer, of Montpelier; two sisters, Diana (John) Huss, of Warren, and Lena (Charles) Taylor, of Dunkirk; three grandsons, Dakota (Lexie) Carr, of Bluffton, and Conner (Tiffany) Carr and Dawson Carr, both of Pennville; and a great-granddaughter.
 
She was preceded in death by a son, Tye L. King.
 
Calling is Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier. A service to celebrate her life will be Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Laura High officiating. Interment will follow in the Twin Hill - I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pennville.
