Donald R. 'Stub' Fishbaugh

Donald R. “Stub” Fishbaugh, 94, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 9 a.m. at Markle Health and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Fishbaugh worked for Huntington Salvage and then as a bricklayer. He spent his last years living and helping at Timber Lake.
 
He was born August 14, 1923, in Carter Township, MT, to Isaac “Ike” and Versey Spath Fishbaugh. He married Catherine Kinsey on Oct. 28, 1944, in Huntington, and she preceded him in death in1997.

He is survived by seven sons, Donald Fishbaugh, David Fishbaugh and Larry Fishbaugh, all of Huntington; Harry Fishbaugh, of Indianapolis; Roland Fishbaugh, of Fort Wayne; Henry Fishbaugh; of Lagro; and Lloyd Fishbaugh, of Warren; three daughters, Betty Cox, of Columbia City; Beverly Asher, of Georgia; and Sharon Rivers, of Zephyrhills, FL; a sister, Mary Ward, of Roanoke; 29 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, July 17, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., preceding the 1 pm funeral service, at Deal-Rice Funeral Home-Huntington Chapel, 338 E. Washington St.  Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.
