Edward 'Thunder Chicken' Horn

Edward "Thunder Chicken" Horn, 78, of Fort Wayne, and having family in Roanoke, IN, died Monday, April 2, 2018.

Mr. Horn served as a United States Marine. He was a forklift mechanic for Food Marketing, Carnation and Nestle before retiring in 2002.

He was born in Auburn to George and Juanita Horn.

Surviving are his three daughters, Evon (Scott) Mumma and Robin Trimm, both of Fort Wayne, and Jennifer (Justin Modglin) Horn, of Roanoke; three sons, Raymond (Carolyn) Horn, of New Haven, and Charles Horn and James (Brittney) Horn, of Fort Wayne; a brother, Robert (Kathy) Horn, of Leo; a sister, Juanita Hill, of SC; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Edward Horn II.

A celebration of life service will be Sunday, April 8, 2018, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Marine Military presentation at 5 p.m. at the Arlington Clubhouse, 4630 W. Arlington Park Blvd., Fort Wayne.

Memorials may be made to the Honor Flight of Northeast Indiana.
