Norman J. Daily

Norman J. Dailey, 71, of Ossian, IN, and having ties to Warren, IN, died Sunday afternoon, Oct. 8, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Dailey graduated from South Side High School, Fort Wayne, and earned a degree in Christian education from Fort Wayne Bible College. He worked at Zollner Piston Corp. for 32 years and had worked for Walmart in Bluffton and Decatur for the past five years. He was a member of Hope Missionary Church for more than 30 years.

He was born Oct. 6, 1946, in Fort Wayne to Paul E. and C. Corrinne Costello Dailey. He married Rose M. Drabenstot on June 15, 1975, in Warren, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Sarah Rose Dailey, of Bluffton, and Lydia Jessie (Jarrod) Kunkel, of Bluffton; two brothers, Paul W. (Diane) Dailey, of St. Charles, IL, and Richard A. (Nancy) Dailey, of Fountain Hills, AZ; and six grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home, in Bluffton. A service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Gary Aupperle will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton.
