Ethan P. Brown

Ethan Phillip Brown, 22, of Pierceton, IN, and having family members in Warren, IN, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017.

Mr. Brown graduated in 2014 from Wawasee High School, in Syracuse. He was a senior at Purdue University, in West Lafayette, where he was studying mechanical engineering technology and was a member of the Purdue Rifle and Pistol Club. For the past three summers, he was an intern at Robert Bosch Automotive Group, in Albion.

He was a lifelong member of Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church, in Syracuse, and was a member of the church softball team. He played baseball in the North Webster Youth League for eight years and was a member of the football and track teams for Wawasee Middle School and Wawasee High School. He also played cello in the school orchestra.

He was born March 29, 1995, in Warsaw to Terrill D. and Teresa L. Roser Brown. His parents survive in Pierceton.

Additional survivors include a sister, Jama (Jay) Salge, of Lima, OH; a brother, Brice Brown, of Pierceton; maternal grandparents, Don and Lois Roser, of Wabash; and paternal grandmother, Waneta Brown, of Warren.

Calling is Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church, Syracuse. A service will be held at the church on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jerry Winegarden officiating. Private burial will be at Shepherd by the Lakes Cemetery.
