William O. Millner

William O. Millner, 74, of Fishers, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Millner graduated from Huntington Catholic High School in 1960 and served in the United States Army. He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in business from the University of Saint Francis.

He worked as an industrial engineer for more than 39 years, including 30 years with Fort Wayne Wire Die, from where he retired in 2009. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Phi Kappa Tau fraternity at Purdue.

He was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Huntington to Charles and Henrietta Haite Millner. He married Sandra Dwornicki on Jan. 29, 1966, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Courtney (Doug) Howie and Shelbey Klenck; a sister, Jean (Stan) Sutton; a brother, Michael Millner; and four grandchildren, Mitchell Howie, Rachel Howie, Edie Klenck and Louis Klenck.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Fishers, with Rev. Tony Rowland officiating. Burial was at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
