Naomi R. Foudy

Naomi R. Foudy, 99, formerly of Zanesville, IN, died Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 7 p.m. at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Mrs. Foudy had worked at Standard Packaging at Baer Field in Fort Wayne for 19 years, retiring in 1978.  She was a 1936 graduate of Warren High School and a member of the Faith Community Church of God.

She was born Jan. 18, 1918, in Wells County to Frank and Sadie (Abner) Yount. She was married to Fred C. Foudy on Oct. 18, 1941, in Warren. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2001.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Tom) Risk, of Roanoke, and Pat (Bill) Quickery, of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren Lori Stern, Jamie Stoffel, Will Haynes, Holly Soria, Suzanne Mickley and Matt Risk; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, June 5, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Pointe Applegate Chapel, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017, the chapel, with one hour prior to the service. Rev. Gerald Moreland will be officiating. Interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
