Peggy L. Iholtz

Peggy L. Iholtz, 83, of North Manchester, IN, and having family members in Bippus, IN, died Friday, May 12, 2017, at Peabody Retirement Community, in North Manchester.

Mrs. Iholtz was a member of Congregational Christian Church, in North Manchester, where she served as a deaconess and was involved in the funeral dinner ministry and community breakfasts. She was a homemaker.

She was born Feb 5, 1934, in Sidney to Dale L. and Mary Elizabeth Gray Parker. She married E. William “Bill” Iholtz on Dec. 31, 1953, and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2011.

Survivors include a son, Michael William (Susan) Iholtz, of Bippus; two daughters, Gloria Jean (Gene) Gottschalk, of South Whitley, and Barbara Ann (Frank) Edwards, of Wabash; a brother, Roger Lee Parker, of Roann; two sisters, Jean Klutz and Linda Mae Parker, both of North Manchester; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Calling is Wednesday, May 17, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind.-114 West, North Manchester. A service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017, with calling one hour prior to the service, at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester. Rev. J.P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be at Swank Cemetery, North Manchester.
