Raymond E.'Bud' Morris III

Raymond E. “Bud” Morris III, 74, of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 12:55 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Morris graduated from Union High School in 1961 and served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964. He retired from General Electric, where he had worked as a group leader for 35 years. After retirement, he worked as a bagger at Marsh, in Huntington. He was a member of American Legion Post 160, in Roanoke.

He was born Jan. 21, 1943, in Huntington to Raymond E. Jr. and Rosemary LaVine Morris. He married Joan Huebner on Feb. 9, 1980, and she survives.

Additional survivors include three daughters, Candee (Walt) Smith, of Warren; Nichole (Tom) Buehler, of Huntington; and Bridgett M. Harrell, of Dundas, MN; two sons, Randall (Kim) Morris, of Huntington, and Richard (Deborah) Morris, of Roanoke; a brother, James (Jena) Morris, of Huntington; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, May 19, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a service following at 5 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, in Huntington. Todd Thomas will officiate. Those unable to attend may view the service on the Bailey-Love Mortuary channel at www.livestream.com.
