Terry W. Kaehr

Terry W. Kaehr, 77, of Bluffton, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Monday afternoon, May 1, 2017.

Mr. Kaehr worked at various jobs in the area and retired from Fort Wayne Vehicle Auction. He served in the United States Navy from 1957 until 1963. He attended Sonlight Wesleyan Church, in Bluffton.

He was born March 10, 1940, in Bluffton to William and Vandetta Hupp Kaehr. He married Ailyn Quinawayan on Feb. 7, 2007, in Fort Wayne, and she survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Terry A. Kaehr, of Bluffton; a daughter, Terry M. Kaehr, of Bluffton; two stepdaughters, Elilyn Miranda and Ericka Miranda, both of Bluffton; and two brothers, Bill Kaehr, of Phoenix, AZ, and Bob (Winnie) Kaehr, of Huntington.

Calling is Thursday, May 4, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a service following at 6 p.m., at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, in Bluffton. Rev. Lyle Breeding will officiate. A private graveside service will be held at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery, with military rites by Bluffton American Legion Post 111 in conjunction with the United States Navy.
