Terry D. Robison

Terry D. Robison, 75, of Sweetser, IN, and having ties to Huntington, IN, died Monday, May 1, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Robinson was a 1959 graduate of Wabash High School. He served in the United States Air Force for four years during the Vietnam era, serving part of that time in Guam. He retired from TransCare Ambulance Service, in Marion, where he was an emergency medical technician. He had also worked at General Tire, in Marion, and Wabash Technologies, in Huntington.

He served as a firefighter with the Pleasant Township Fire Department for 30 years and as an emergency medical technician for Grant County Emergency Medical Services for 20 years.

He was born Aug. 31, 1941, in Wabash to Charles and Mary Forbes Robison. He married Claretta Peters on May 23, 1965, and she survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Eric Robison, of Swayzee; a daughter, Deanna (Rick) Cass, of Alexandria; a brother, Mike Robison, of Anderson; two brothers-in-law, Raymond Peters, of Swayzee, and George (Louise) Peters, of Fairmount; and two grandchildren, Erin Cass and Riley Cass, both of Alexandria.

Calling is Thursday, May 4, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 5, 2017, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Todd Graham officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be at Park Cemetery.
