Joan L. Tinsley, 68, of Bluffton, IN, and a native of Huntington County, IN, died Friday, April 14, 2017, at 5:35 p.m. at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Tinsley had worked at a health care facility. She was a member of Moose Lodge 242, in Bluffton, and attended Life Church.
She was born Jan. 5, 1949, in Huntington County to George O. and Phyllis J. Betz Bowman.
Survivors include a son, Ivan (Dawn) Wilson, of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Tina (Wes) Woods, of Colorado, and Kathy (David) Wells, of Tennessee; two sisters, Peggy (Maggie) Williamson, of Bluffton, who served as her caregiver, and Sue Lindsay, of Ligonier; two brothers, Tracey Bowman, of Indianapolis, and David Bowman, of Decatur; a half-sister, Sandy Heyse, of Columbia City; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Calling is Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with a service following at 3 p.m., at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home, in Bluffton. Rev. Lyle Breeding will officiate.
Gifts to the family may be made in care of the funeral home.
