Linda Jane Davidson, 64, of rural Van Buren, IN, and a native of Huntington County, IN, died Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 12:15 a.m. at Indiana University Hospital, in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Davidson graduated from Huntington North High School. She worked at Heritage Pointe, in Warren, as a CNA for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Hanfield United Methodist Church and worked in the nursery.
She was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Huntington County to Gene and Miriam Stevens Thompson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael James Bell. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Frank Davidson.
Additional survivors include a son, Shawn Michael (Lisa Perkins) Bell, of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Stacy (Jeff) Brooks, of Marion, and Holly Davidson, of Marion, OH; three sisters, Sandy Eichhorn, of Warren; Gloria Collins, of Springfield, OH; and Debbie Spears, of Etna Green; and eight grandchildren, Kayla Brooks and Brandon Brooks, both of Marion; Brooklyn Bell, Chase Perkins and Hailee Perkins, all of Fort Wayne; and Colton Davidson, Katie Weaver and Jacob Weaver, all of Marion, OH.
Calling is Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Tim Helm will officiate. Burial will be at the Van Buren Cemetery, in Van Buren.
