Richard S. Grove

Richard S. Grove, 75, of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, April 1, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Grove grew up in Beech Grove and graduated from Beech Grove High School in 1959. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Anchorage, AK. He worked for the Big Three and was a member of the UAW for 42 years, retiring in 2006 from General Motors/UAW Local 2209, Fort Wayne. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington.

He was born May 2, 1941, in Columbus to David J. and Virginia Stevens Holder. His adoptive parents were Clarence and Mary Hodler Grove. He married Madeleine Morin in 1987, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Nancy Grove and Amy Prodouz; a son-in-law, Jason Prodouz; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rosmarie Hodler, Linda and Gerry Pelletier, Denis Morin, Denise Gordon and Joe Eichberger; mother-in-law, Linda Dillon-Morin; and two grandchildren, Jacob Prodouz and Reese Prodouz.

Calling is Friday, April 7, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Anctil-Rochette Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis St., Nashua, NH. Burial will be at St. Louis Cemetery, in Nashua, NH.

A service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry St., Huntington, beginning with Mass at 10 a.m. and followed by a memorial service and luncheon in the church hall.
