Diana L. McCullough

Diana L. McCullough, 69, of Decatur, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at her home.

Mrs. McCullough was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church and was involved in the church’s women’s ministry. She was a long-time employee of Adams Central School, driving a bus for more than 30 years and coaching at the high school and middle school. She was instrumental in starting the softball program at Adams Central and started the Monroe Junior Girls Softball League in the mid-1970s.

She was born Feb. 21, 1948, in Adams County to Arthur and Catherine Ehrsam Roudebush. She married Charles L. “Chuck” McCullough on Sept. 2, 1967, and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2003.

Survivors include a son, Jeff (Mary) McCullough, of Decatur; a daughter, Cheri (Mike) Hill, of Huntington; a sister, Donna (Roger) Currie, of Monroe; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, March 24, 2017, at the Monroe United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, in Monroe. A service will be held at the church on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 4 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Mike Hill and Rev. Char Allen will officiate. Burial will be at Ray Cemetery.
