Marjorie J. Lieurance, 94, of Warren, IN, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at 2 a.m. at Bluffton Regional Medical Center in Bluffton, IN.
Mrs. Lieurance was a 1941 graduate of Warren High School. She worked at the Sanitary Market in Warren for 25 years and in the kitchen at the United Methodist Memorial Home (now Heritage Pointe), in Warren. She was a lifelong member of Eastern Star, a member of Warren United Church of Christ and Tri Kappa. She had helped with a 4-H club and Girl Scouts. She also attended Boehmer United Methodist Church in rural Liberty Center.
She was born Jan. 15, 1923, in Clinton County to Henry Lawrence and Mary Barnett Herr. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Huffman, Alfred Rupright and Joseph W. Lieurance.
Survivors include three daughters, Marsha K. Walton, of Huntington; Sue A. Morgan, of Fort Wayne; and Mary L. (Kerry Miller) Huffman, of Bluffton; two sons, Ned K. (June) Huffman and James E. (Alice) Huffman, both of Warren; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Calling is Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Heritage Pointe Applegate Chapel, 801 Huntington Ave., in Warren. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Warren United Church of Christ 202 E. 2nd St., Warren, with calling one hour before the service. Rev. Scott E. Nedberg will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
