Mary Margaret Morris Dye, 85, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, March 4, 2017.
Mrs. Dye worked as a part-time professor teaching medical terminology at Ivy Tech Community College and Indiana University-Purdue University fort Wayne. She had also worked in the medical records department at Parkview Memorial Hospital and as a medical transcriptionist for several local doctors.
She was born April 26, 1931, in Huntington and was raised by Ronald and Mary Katherine Hegel.
Survivors include a son, Paul Haugen; two daughters, Katherine (Wayne) Allibone and Carrie (Marcus) Aldridge; two sisters, Lynn Clabaugh and Vicki Carter; 11 grandchildren, Dawn (Joel) Putney, Shaun Beiswanger, Barry Aldridge, Erich Haugen, Jason Radke, Kyle Haugen, John Aldridge, Claire Haugen, Brandie Bidner, Lisa Shipman and Courtney Aldridge; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A private service was held. Burial was at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
