William 'Neal' Sheehan

William “Neal” Sheehan, 81, of Coldwater, MI, and having family members in Markle, IN, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at Dupont Hospital, in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Sheehan served as a paratrooper in the United States Army. He retired after 23 years as an engineer with Norfolk Southern and had previously worked for 13 years at International Harvester. He had lived at Lake George for 22 years.

He was born in Monroeville to Irvin and Alberta Geis Sheehan. He is survived by his wife, Susan Connors Sheehan.

Additional survivors include a son, Jeffery Sheehan, of Angola; two daughters, Tracey (Doug) Keller, of Markle, and Kristine (Mark) Welty, of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Eugene (Nancy) Sheehan, of Fort Wayne, and Carl (Kathy) Sheehan, of Monroeville; and four grandchildren, Savannah Clevenger, Vincent Welty, Jack Welty and Sydney Sheehan.

Calling is Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne.
