Myrtle E. Warnock Hartman

Myrtle E. Warnock Hartman, 91, of Huntington, IN, and formerly of Kokomo, IN, died Thursday, April 28, 2016, at 1:35 a.m. at Tipton Place in Huntington.

Mrs. Hartman worked at Wright's Beauty College for 19 years. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lutheran Layman's League and Extension Homemakers Club of Howard County.

She was born June 21, 1924, in Clinton to William E. and Wilhelmina Phipps Byers. Her husband, Alfred Hartman, preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Holly Ann Cuttriss, of Huntington; Marcia Lee (John) Timm, of Amboy; and Cecilia Sue (Randy) Spaulding, of Rochester; a brother, Elmer Byers, of Kokomo; two sisters, Ruby Bush and Opal Hartman, both of Kokomo; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, May 2, 2016, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6843W-400 N, Kokomo, with Rev. Thomas A. Ludwig officiating. Entombment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
