Constance L. 'Connie' Schul

Constance L. “Connie” Schul, 72, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at 8:45 p.m. at Englewood Health and Rehabilitation Center, Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Schul graduated from Fairfield (OH) High School in 1961 and attended Western Michigan University. She worked as a secretary, bookkeeper and veterinarian assistant with her husband at Schul Veterinary, in Huntington, for 20 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Tri Kappa and numerous bridge clubs.

She was born April 28, 1943, in Hamilton, OH, to Edward W. and Ruby M. Kinnison Kemp. She married George Schul on Jan. 27, 1962, in Hamilton, OH, and he survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Marlin Schul, of West Lafayette; a daughter, Carrie Knuckles, of Noblesville; a brother, Charles Kemp, of Fairfield, OH; a sister, Kathleen Kemp, of Middletown, OH; and five grandchildren.

There will be no calling or service. Interment will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
