Margie E. Holley

Margie Ellen Holley, 72, of Wabash, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor East, in Wabash.

Mrs. Holley had worked for Bertsch Food Service, filling vending machines for factories in the Wabash area, and retired as a manager in 2004. She had also worked at United Technologies, in Huntington, for seven years.

She was born Aug. 1, 1943, in Huntington to Frederick and Reva Obenour Sands. She married Jack Lee Holley Sr. on Aug. 21, 1970, in Wabash, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1986. She is survived by her companion of 23 years, Byrl Dwayne Hopkins, of Wabash.

Additional survivors include a son, Jack L. (Misty) Holley Jr., of Wabash; four daughters, Diana (Terry) George and Brenda (Greg) Driscoll, both of Wabash; Michelle Kuzemka, of Roanoke; and Tammy (Clint) Wrisk, of Lagro; a sister, Linda Sands, of Kokomo; a brother, Mark Sands, of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. Rev. Scott Johnston will officiate. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
