Ted J. Pratt

Ted J. Pratt, 63, of Roanoke, IN, died Monday, July 20, 2015, at 1:45 p.m. at his daughter’s home in Rossville.

Mr. Pratt worked at Chrysler for 28 years, retiring in 1997.

He was born March 11, 1952, in Poplar Bluff, MO, to Mary Ann “Tootsie” Goodman Allen and adopted at birth by Walter and Flossie Creasy Pratt. He married Laura Hopkins on Jan. 27, 1998, in Kokomo, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Holly (Greg) Steele, of Russiaville, and Jody (Rhett) Wainscott, of Rossville; a stepson, Dan (Kris) Ellenwood, of California; a stepdaughter, Dena (Jon) Joseph, of Columbia City; three sisters, Renae (Larry) Houston and Cindy McCoin, both of Clarkton, MO, and Leticia (Wendell) Ladymon, of Union, MO; 10 grandchildren, Morgan Pratt, Breanna Wainscott, Jake Steele, Gracie Steele, Jackson Ellenwood, Cooper Ellenwood, Maxwell Joseph, Samuel Joseph, Lily Joseph, and Clarice Joseph; father-in-law, Tom Taylor, of Kokomo; and sister-in-law, Becky Goodman, of Clarkton, MO.

Calling is Thursday, July 23, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a memorial service following at 4:30 p.m., at Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral Homes, in Roanoke.
