William J. 'Bill' Till

William J. “Bill” Till, 82, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Friday, May 1, 2015, at Park Place Senior Living, in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Till was a graduate of Huntertown High School and Purdue University and served in the Indiana Air National Guard. He worked in quality assurance with the United States government for 25 years, retiring in 2004. He had also been employed at Magnavox and owned Till Carpet Service. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, and American Legion Post 496.

He was born in Allen County to Albert W. and Angelene A. Till.

Survivors include three sons, Matthew W. (Mary) Till, of Huntington; Anthony A. (Lynn) Till, of Grabill; and Joseph E. (Teresa) Till, of Churubusco; a daughter, Denise D. Robinson, of Newport Beach, CA; four brothers, Louis H. Till, Kenneth L. (Susan) Till and David E. (Mary) Till, all of Fort Wayne, and Carl H. (Annie) Till, of Florida; a sister, Diane M. (John) Beuchel, of Fort Wayne; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Till and Lillie Till, both of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, May 5, 2015, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 2 p.m., at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 518 E. DeWald St., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to Mass. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
