James 'Jim' 'J.O.' Wolf

James “Jim” “J.O.” Wolf, 80, of Roanoke, IN, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at 1:40 p.m. at Norwood Health and Rehabilitation, in Huntington.

Mr. Wolf was the founder of J.O. Wolf Tool & Die and owned the business for 31 years. He attended Roanoke High School.

He was a member of Seminary United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge 195, both in Roanoke; Floral Chapter 75 Order of the Eastern Star, in Huntington; Mizpah Shrine and Scottish Rite, in Fort Wayne; Mizpah Antique Power Club; Flying Shriners; and Ageless Iron Tractor Club, in Roanoke.

He was born Oct. 4, 1934, in Union Township to Ellis and Evelyn Wilson Wolf. He married Jenelle Weist on June 27, 1954, in Huntington, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 9, 1969. He married Shirley Myers on Dec. 31, 1972, in Huntington, and she survives in Roanoke.

Survivors include two sons, James E. (Marla) Wolf and Keith L. (Dawn) Miller, both of Huntington; a daughter, Julie A. (Tom) Stanley, of Modesto, CA; a sister, Jeanne (Dan) Larkey, of Warren; nine grandchildren, Leslie Parker, James (Jessica) Wolf, BreAnne (Derek) Dyer, Stephanie Bassett, John Stanley, Ellen (Jim) Nunley, Karissa Miller, Kalvin Miller and Tyler Keefer; and nine great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, April 24, 2015, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral Homes, Roanoke. Roanoke Masonic Lodge 195 will conduct a Masonic service on Friday, April 24, 2015, at 7 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Jim Tormey will officiate. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke.
