Myron B. Gearheart

Myron Brunner Gearheart, 96, of Jackson Township, Wells County, IN., and having local relatives, died Friday, April 17, 2015, at 10:30 p.m. at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN.

Mr. Gearhart attended Irvin High School in Howard County. He was a member of the Asbury Chapel United Methodist Church. He retired from Anaconda Wire and Cable Company in Marion after many years of service.

He was born June 3, 1918, in Howard County to Alva and Adella Brunner Gearheart. He married Barbara Coleen Hosier on Aug. 17, 1940, in Logansport, and she preceded him on March 25, 2009.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Robert Dygert (Anita) Gearheart, of Ashland, OR; two daughters, Patty (Dale) Slusher and Mary Lee Herr, both of Warren; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, April 20, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at 11 a.m. atg the funeral home following one hour of viewing. Dr. Robert Dygert Gearheart will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery in rural Warren.
