Freddie N. Murray

Freddie N. Murray, 67, of Marion, IN, and having local relatives, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at 8:04 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Murray was a high school graduate and served in the United States Army. He worked as a lab technician at the Atlas Foundry in Marion, retiring in 2010 after 32 years. He attended Wesleyan Methodist Church in Marion.

He was born Feb. 25, 1948, in Marion to Cornellius Neal and Nettie Elliott Murray. He married Linda Camden on March 4, 1972, and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Roger (Natalie) Murray, of Coldwater, OH, and Larry Murray, of Huntington; a daughter, Belinda (James) Stouder, of Huntington; a brother, Jackie Murray, of Marion; 11 grandchildren, Austin, Katelyn, Alana, Sophia, Addisyn, Isabella, Elliott, Autumn, Gage, Jake and Zane; and a great-grandchild.

Calling is Tuesday, March 3, 2015, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Laird–Eddy Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Amboy. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, following one hour of visitation, with Rev. Barry Earley officiating. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy.
