Geneva V. Howes

Geneva V. Howes, 97, formerly of Bippus, IN, died Friday morning Aug. 22, 2014, at Heritage Pointe in Warren.
Mrs. Howes was a 1935 graduate of Bippus High School. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Bippus. She was a waitress for many years at the Bippus Restaurant.
She was born March 16, 1917, in Bippus to Edward and Hannah Young Heller. She married Harold B. Howes on May 30, 1941. He preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 1964.
Survivors include a son, David L. (Delight) Howes, of Wabash; a daughter, Dawn E. Harrison, of Huntington; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Calling is Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. A funeral service will follow immediately after. Interment will take place at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion.
Memorial donations may be made out to Heritage Pointe Nursing Home, in care of Myers Funeral Home 2901 Guilford St. Huntington, IN 46750.
