J. Pauline Cussen, 99, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at 4 a.m. at University Park Health and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Cussen graduated from Huntington High School in 1932. She worked as a bookkeeper at Triad-Utrad, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Huntington Church of the Brethren.
She was born Aug. 4, 1914, in Grant County to Hiram and Estelle Cox Wilson. She married Frank Cussen on Nov. 21, 1937, in Huntington. He preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 1979.
Survivors include a son, Tom (Diann) Cussen, of Kendallville; two daughters, Linda Moore, of West Lake Village, CA, and Jean Cussen, of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, David (Candi) Cusssen, of Granger, and Betsy (Mark) Bloom, of Fort Wayne; and four great-grandchildren.
Calling is Wednesday, July 23, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service following at 1 p.m., at Deal-Rice Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. David Cussen will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
