Opal W. Early, 94, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, July 18, 2014, at 5:11 a.m. at Markle Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Early graduated from Wauseon High School, in Wauseon, OH, in 1938 and had lived in Huntington since 1950. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, in Huntington. She was a member of the Wesleyan Service Group through Trinity Church and a member of the Erie Railroad Veterans Auxiliary.
She was born Feb. 13, 1920, in Fayette, OH, to Hudson and Hanna Miller Paxson. She married Kenneth O. Early on Dec. 23, 1942, in Wauseon, OH, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 2006.
Survivors include a brother, Donald (Belle Louise) Paxson, of Huntington.
Calling is Monday, July 21, 2014, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, with Rev. Robert Land officiating. Burial will be at Blue River Cemetery, in Whitley County.
