Kayla Leidig Dowdy, 22, of Pocatello, ID, and a former resident of Huntington, died Friday, June 20, 2014, in Pocatello.
Mrs. Dowdy graduated from Huntington North High School in 2010. She was a member of the First Brethren Church, in Huntington.
She was born Aug. 14, 1991, in Huntington and is survived by her parents, Jon and Heather MacDonald Leidig, of Huntington. She married Taz Dowdy, who survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Addyson Leidig, of Huntington; three brothers, Devin Leidig, Brady Leidig and Ethan Leidig, all of Huntington; and two sisters, Latasha Leidig and Emma Leidig, both of Huntington.
A memorial service will follow calling on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at 1 p.m. at First Brethren Church, 245 S. Marion Rd., Huntington. Rev. Dianna Teusch will officiate. Private burial will be at a later date.
