Donald R. Craig, 90, of Huntington, died Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 3 am. at his home.
Mr. Craig was a dairy and grain farmer for more than 52 years. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, and played fiddle in bluegrass groups.
He was born Jan. 23, 1924, in Huntington to Charles M. and Lona McCombs Craig. He married Helene Marie Stoffel on April 15, 1944, in Huntington, and she survives.
Additional survivors include four daughters, Connie (Tim) Konz, Linda (John) Scheiber and Marilyn (Ron) Eppard, all of Huntington, and Shirley (Trent) Smith, of Columbia City; 16 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Tuesday, June 24, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, Huntington.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to Mass, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington.
Memorial gifts may be made to Huntington County Right to Life in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington.
