Steven A. Miller, 61, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Miller served in the United States Army from 1972 to 1975. He was a member of American Legion Post 85 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2689, both in Huntington. He had lived in Maysville, KY, for almost 30 years and had been employed by the City of Maysville for more than 20 years. He had also worked at Continental Structural Plastics for several years.
He was born Aug. 29, 1952, in Bluffton to William H. and Ramona J. Sills Miller. He married Birdie Jones on June 9, 1972, in Maysville, KY. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Rebecca S. Miller, of Maysville, KY; a son, Shawn DeVaughn, of Maysville, KY; a sister, Joyce Thompson, of Carthage; three brothers, William Miller, of Hemett, CA; Rick Miller, of Indianapolis; and Timothy Miller, of Ossian; two grandchildren, Brittany (Ty Newdigate) Miller and Lanessa Hampton; and two great-grandchildren.
Calling is Friday, June 20, 2014, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a memorial service following at noon, at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
