Lucille M. Westerman, 84, of Huntington, died Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 7:52 p.m. at Heritage Pointe, in Warren.
Mrs. Westerman was a 1948 graduate of Huntington High School. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for Pik-a-Nut Corporation, in Huntington, for 25 years.
She was born March 8, 1930, in Huntington to Ora and Alma Boyd Hunnicutt. She married David Jack Westerman on July 27, 1979, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 2007.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan "Dee Dee" Westerman Brown, of Summerfield, FL; two sisters, Marilyn Raber, of Huntington, and Shirley (Bobby) Cole, of Marion; three brothers, Francis "Bud" (Shirley) Hunnicutt, of Roanoke; Walter D. (Donna) Hunnicutt, of Summerfield, FL; and James E. (Marie) Hunnicutt, of Warren; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Tuesday, June 24, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a memorial service following at 11 a.m., in Applegate Chapel at Heritage Pointe, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren. Gerald Moreland will officiate. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
