Bonnie L. Wolfe

Bonnie L. Wolfe, 82, of Churubusco, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, in Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Wolfe was a graduate of Andrews High School. She worked at General Electric, Alfran Nursing Home, The Oaks and Churubusco High School.

She was born July 14, 1931, in Bloomington, IL, to Arvil "Doc" and Goldie Mae Snare Laymon. She married Verlin "Bud" Wolfe and he survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Brenda Smith, of Bremerton, WA; two stepdaughters, Nila (Randy) Reimer, of Columbia City, and Carol (Jerry) Everly, of Stem, NC; a stepson, Allen Wolfe, of Suffolk, VA; a sister, Helen Merryman, of Huntington; nine grandchildren, Jesse Martin, Sarah Mayer, Jeffrey (Angie) Reimer, Angie (Mike) Torres, Melissa (Eric) Thrasher, Jerod (April) Wolfe, Wesley Everly, Joshua (Leslie) Wolfe and Shelly (Travis) Sommerlott; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, June 13, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. A service will be held Saturday, June 14, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Wolf Lake Cemetery.
