Charles F. Leeka

Charles F. Leeka, 65, of North Manchester, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at 6:10 a.m. at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
Mr. Leeka worked at Laketon Refinery, in Laketon, from 1972 to 1994; at McDonald's, in North Manchester, from 1994 to 2001; and at North Manchester Foundry (Manchester Metals) from 2001 to 2004. He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1972. He was a member of Congregational Christian Church, in North Manchester, American Legion Post 286 and Manchester Moose Family Center.
He was born Aug. 29, 1948, in Wabash to William A. and Mary Rhoades Leeka. He married Markeeta Fleming on July 21, 1984, and she survives.
Additional survivors include four sons, Paul A. Leeka and Aron M. Ball, both of Laketon; John F. (Danielle) Leeka, of Warsaw; and Brian (Angie) Ball, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Betty Jane Fish, of Huntington; 10 grandchildren; and even great-grandchildren.
A service was held on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Rev. J.P. Freeman officiating.
