Kathleen A. Driscoll, 59, of Indianapolis, IN, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at 6:55 a.m. at her home.
Ms. Driscoll was one of the first women in Indiana to become a licensed electrician and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 292. She had also worked as a biomedical technician for DaVita Dialysis for eight years. She was a member of the Michael Servetus Unitarian Society and previously lived in Minneapolis, MN.
She was born Oct. 3, 1954, in Omaha, NE, to Lloyd and Norma Foltz Driscoll. Her parents survive in Huntington. She is also survived by her wife of 20 years, Polly Philblad, of Minneapolis, MN.
Additional survivors include five brothers, Dave (Tammy) Driscoll, of Dolthan, AL; John (Jackie) Driscoll, of Warsaw; Brian (Linda) Driscoll, of Bryan, OH; Andy Driscoll, of Fort Wayne; and Mark (Lisa) Driscoll, of Huntington.
Calling is Saturday, June 14, 2014, from 11 a.m. to noon, with a memorial service following at noon, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Chaplain Sue Ross will officiate.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary.
