Janet S. Radtke

Janet S. Radtke, 68, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, May 4, 2014, at 10:30 p.m. at Norwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, in Huntington.

Mrs. Radtke graduated from Huntington High School in 1964. She had worked at Magnetek and Wabash Magnetics, both in Huntington, and retired in 1997.

She was born March 29, 1946, in Fort Wayne to Paul and Ruby Matney Drabenstot. She married James R. Radtke on Aug. 29, 1980, in Huntington, and he survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, James R. Radtke Jr. and Joseph R. (Colette) Radtke, both of Huntington; two sisters, Ilene Lahr, of Huntington, and Waneta (Nelson) Thomas, of Roanoke; three sisters-in-law, Sandy (Roger) Drabenstot, Sandy (Dean) Drabenstot and Lois (Carol) Feemster, all of Huntington; a brother-in-law, Glenn Searles, of Huntington; and two grandchildren, Owen Ryan Radtke and Hailie Grace Radtke, both of Huntington.

Calling is Wednesday, May 7, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at 1 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Raymond Scribner will officiate. Burial will be at Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington County.
