L. Lamoine DeHaven

L. Lamoine DeHaven, 77, of Warren, IN, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 12:10 a.m. at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Mr. DeHaven graduated from Jefferson High School in 1954. He sold cars for more than 40 years and was a member of Solid Rock United Methodist Church in Warren. He was a member of Mt. Etna Masonic Lodge No. 333.

He was born July 4, 1936, in Wabash to Henry A. "Hank" and Doris S. Hedrick DeHaven. He married Rochelle A. Van De Grift on March 11, 1956, at Mt. Etna United Methodist Church. She survives.

Additional survivors are a son, Andrew "Andy" (Ann) DeHaven, of Watervliet, MI; two daughters, Candace "Candy" (Joh) Smith, of Warren, and Dawn (Keith) Miller, of Huntington; three brothers, Gene (Mary) DeHaven, of Huntington; Gary (Carole) DeHaven, of West Lafayette; and Ed DeHaven, of Markle; two sisters, Wanda (Dave) Spahr, of Warren, and Shirley (Charles) Ternet, of Marion; nine grandchildren, Leslie (Jeff) Morris, Lee (Drew) Smith, Kameron Morris, BreAnne (Derek) Dyer, Jerin (Jayme) DeHaven, Karissa Miller, Jaxon DeHaven, Kalvin Miller and Weston DeHaven; and six great-grandchildren.

Calling is Wednesday, April 30, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with funeral services immediately following, at Solid Rock United Methodist Church, 485 Bennett Drive, Warren. Rev. Kathy Newton will officiate. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County, with military graveside rites performed by VFW Post 2689 of Huntington.
