Erma Clark, 85, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at 5:15 a.m. at her daughter's home.
Mrs. Clark had worked at Spots and later worked at H.K. Porter as a machine operator for 30 years, retiring in 1991. She volunteered at Head Start for 12 years.
She was born Feb. 3, 1929, in Huntington to Thomas and Florence Buzzard Shell. She married Everett Clark on Oct. 21, 1950, in Huntington, Her husband preceded her in death on March 19, 1978.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Jack Mull) Stevens, of Huntington; two sons, Charles (Joan) Clark, of Huntington, and Doug Clark, of Banquo; a sister, Norma Davis, of Huntington; five grandchildren, Renee (Thomas Jr.) Babb, Bobbie Clark, Raymond Clark, Nathaniel Clark and Chelsea Hunnicutt; and four great-grandchildren.
Calling is Friday, March 28, 2014, from noon to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at Deal-Rice Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. Rev. Jeff Carroll will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
