Barry L. Boals, 74, of Fishers, IN, and having relatives in Roanoke, IN, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at his residence in Fishers.
Mr. Boals was a veteran of the United States Navy. He made his career in retail sales and management, and retired from Fishers Do-It Best in 1999.
He was born May 1, 1939, in Sidney, OH, to W. Foster and Mildred E. Boals. He married his wife, Donna, on May 17, 1981, and she survives.
Also surviving are five daughters, Kristine Boals and Donna Marie Boals, of Roanoke; Gretchen Duran (JoEl Schult) of Oakland, CA; Betsy (Irvin) Rodriguez, of Fishers; and Anna (Ben) Wayman, of Salt Lake City, UT; and three sons, Daniel Boals, of Indianapolis; Matthew Boals, of Fishers; and Andrew (Jocelyn) South, of Oceanside CA; five grandsons, Tyler (Erin) Working, Justin (Jamie) Working, Brandon (Samantha) Boals, Bradley Boals and Jagger South; and seven great-grandchildren.
Calling is Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, with a celebration of life following at 11 a.m.
