Barbara E. Fulton, 68, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at 8:10 a.m. at Coventry Meadows, in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Fulton, a 1963 graduate of Lancaster High School, worked for the Huntington County Community School Corporation for 33 years, managing the cafeteria at Lancaster School. She was a member of the Salamonie Church of the Brethren, where she sang in the choir. She was active in the Town and Country Extension Homemakers Club of Lancaster Township.
She was born March 11, 1945, in Huntington County to Earl and Alice Lahr Thomas. She married Steve Fulton on Sept. 11, 1965, in Warren, and he survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Tom (Jennifer Goff) Fulton and Rich Fulton, both of Huntington; a sister, Marilyn (Terry) Penn; and two grandchildren, Mariah Fulton and Gregory Goff.
Calling is Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Mel Zumbrun officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.
Memorial gifts may be made to Salamonie Church of the Brethren or to Family Life Care Hospice in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary.
