Sister Rose Anthony McClosky

Sister Rose Anthony McClosky, OLVM, 85, a resident of Victory Noll, in Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at Holy Family Health Care, at Victory Noll.
Sister McClosky entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on Nov. 27, 1946, and made first vows on Aug. 5, 1949. She served in missions in California, Florida and Texas, retiring from ministry in 2008 in San Antonio, TX, and returning to Victory Noll.
She was born Jan. 5, 1928, in San Antonio, TX, to Frank and Bronistava "Bessie" Kolonko McClosky.
Survivors include three sisters, Louise Mulhern, Leocadia Butts and Isabel Grothues, all of Texas.
A vigil service will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at 7 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Victory Noll Chapel, 1900 W. Park Drive, Huntington. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to Mass, in the chapel. Rev. Dale Bauman will preside. Burial will be at Victory Noll Cemetery.
