Claude F. Good, 74, of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at 9:45 p.m. at Miller's Merry Manor.
Mr. Good graduated in 1959 from Atwood High School in Atwood. He was a sergeant in the 1st Cavalry of the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He worked in advertising sales at The Herald-Press for more than 30 years, retiring in 2004. He had also worked as a typesetter at the Times-Union, in Warsaw. He had attended Life Church.
He was born Nov. 1, 1939, in Goshen to Frank and Viola Linn Good. He married Inez Y. Sechrist on Dec. 8, 1962, in Atwood. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Eric F. (Amy) Good, of Roanoke; a brother, Dallas Trine, of Sawyer, MI; a sister, Penny Trine, of Sawyer, MI; and five grandchildren.
Calling is Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, from noon to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. Rev. Mike Hill will officiate. Interment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
